OH MY GOD GLOBAL WAS SO FAT! Write up soon, but in the mean time:
About seven months ago, in the cold dark days of December and January, I would hack it down to Portsmouth after college every Tuesday to visit The Registry, where all drinks were between £1 and £1.50, including Stella on tap. After visiting about 6 weeks in a row, we soon grew bored of standing up in a dark and cramped room with the likes of Blink 182 and The All American Rejects blaring out of the sound system, and therefore proceeded to spend our nights down Albert Road. Due to my recent lack of funds and the fact that everyone’s schedules have now changed, I hadn’t visited the Blue Army for a night out in a while. While sitting on Facebook this Tuesday, it became apparent that everyone was paying The Reg a visit that night, followed by Route where all drinks are also just a quid. After blagging up a place to sleep, I decided that it would be a decent cheap night so I jumped in the motor and proceeded southbound on the A3. Banter then ensued at the Reg, followed by Route, followed by Babylon where we stayed until close. About ten of us then headed towards Big Dick’s 16th story flat where we continued to abuse our bodies till the wee hours of the morning. Watching the sun rise over Portsmouth with this view is amazing:

After waking up just after 11 with about 5 hours sleep, we dragged ourselves to Gunwarf to try and cure our hangovers. If you’re ever there around lunchtime, I would highly recommend paying Gunwarf News a visit simply for their meal deal. £2.99 will get you any sandwich (except baguettes and triples), I went for an all day breakfast, which retails at £2.89 anyway, any drink, I went for a Rockstar, any packet of crisps, a ‘big eat’ packet of chilli heatwave Doritos caught my eye, and a bar of Dairy Milk. Was definitely stoked about that. I then had to pay the toilets a visit, where they offer free moisturiser, mouthwash and mints, so I no longer smelt like a brewery.
In other news; this is epic, so is this, and so is this:
Last post for a bit as tomorrow I’m heading up to Stratford-upon-Avon for “the best festival in England, hands down.” Hypeee!

Reminds me a bit of Tonge, that guy.
Yesterday I was supposed to start work at 10AM. I woke up when my phone rang at 10.30AM and it was my boss asking me where the bloody hell I was. My alarm didn’t go off and I was an hour late, bad times. But I don’t have to go back until next week now though, as this weekend is booked off for this:

Hype hype!
A lot of male nudity floating about on Facebook at the moment! If it’s your cup of tea then here’s Charlie:

And Cam:

Quite disturbing to say the least. This weather has sent me into depression I think, so I’m going to use this excuse to post up the footage from when I dislocated my shoulder dropping hammers down Guild Hall September last year (footage courtesy of Rob):
I’ve had the same trucks for about six years now that were originally given two me by a mate, and after bits started breaking I used old parts to keep them together. Today they consist of a Krux baseplate, Grind King kingpin, Venture bushings and a Venture hanger, and have seen better days to say the least:

After snapping my board on Thursday I decided it was a good time to treat myself with the first new pair of trucks I’ve ever bought, as well as a nice new Heroin deck:

Smither and I then proceeded to Emsworth, where we managed to film this before the camera’s battery died after sitting in the boot of the car for god knows how long:
Yesterday I received a text from a mate saying that their Global ticket had arrived (which I was buying from them) and if I could pop round with the £115 for it. I knew that I had spent a bit too much money the past few weeks but I though I could just about afford to pay them. I checked my statement on the net quickly and was devastated when I saw that this was my balance just over a month ago:

And this is what it said today:

And I’ve been paid four times since then, so I’ve spent just under a grand in a month and have almost nothing to show for it. Not stoked! Especially as I now owe my mate £115 for the Global ticket which is under two weeks away, and I have to save up for Amsterdam as well which is a month away. So tonight I’m driving to a mate’s house keeping the car under two and a half thousand revs (which is a lot harder than it seems) and just chilling with whatever beers are on offer at Tesco and hope that I get paid at midnight tonight, not tomorrow.
Paget’s at NASS all weekend so I had to fish this one out myself (not really my cup of tea regarding the music though!):
I started putting together a proper post yesterday, which actually included some footage, but then I went out. I’ll post it tonight after work unless something better pops up…
