Blue Army Tuesdays

About seven months ago, in the cold dark days of December and January, I would hack it down to Portsmouth after college every Tuesday to visit The Registry, where all drinks were between £1 and £1.50, including Stella on tap. After visiting about 6 weeks in a row, we soon grew bored of standing up in a dark and cramped room with the likes of Blink 182 and The All American Rejects blaring out of the sound system, and therefore proceeded to spend our nights down Albert Road. Due to my recent lack of funds and the fact that everyone’s schedules have now changed, I hadn’t visited the Blue Army for a night out in a while. While sitting on Facebook this Tuesday, it became apparent that everyone was paying The Reg a visit that night, followed by Route where all drinks are also just a quid. After blagging up a place to sleep, I decided that it would be a decent cheap night so I jumped in the motor and proceeded southbound on the A3. Banter then ensued at the Reg, followed by Route, followed by Babylon where we stayed until close. About ten of us then headed towards Big Dick’s 16th story flat where we continued to abuse our bodies till the wee hours of the morning. Watching the sun rise over Portsmouth with this view is amazing:

After waking up just after 11 with about 5 hours sleep, we dragged ourselves to Gunwarf to try and cure our hangovers. If you’re ever there around lunchtime, I would highly recommend paying Gunwarf News a visit simply for their meal deal. £2.99 will get you any sandwich (except baguettes and triples), I went for an all day breakfast, which retails at £2.89 anyway, any drink, I went for a Rockstar, any packet of crisps, a ‘big eat’ packet of chilli heatwave Doritos caught my eye, and a bar of Dairy Milk. Was definitely stoked about that. I then had to pay the toilets a visit, where they offer free moisturiser, mouthwash and mints, so I no longer smelt like a brewery.

In other news; this is epic, so is this, and so is this:

Last post for a bit as tomorrow I’m heading up to Stratford-upon-Avon for “the best festival in England, hands down.” Hypeee!
