Fiasco Skateboarding.com – Live from the South Coast

A bit of skateboarding, old friends, drinking all day, drinking every day, sun bathing, clubs, electro gigs, the 24 hour blackout, beach parties, 2 hour walks at 3am on my own just so I could sleep in my car, running out of clothes, borrowing clothes, using the boot of my car as my bedroom, freezing cold showers due to mates with no gas, same boxers & socks for the third day running, Gaviscon, steak club at Spoons, a £2 Tesco meal deal & a banana for breakfast every day, the entire bakery section in the 24 hour for £3, free pool, Albert Road, finding cars with weak/no handbrakes and moving them to inappropriate places, hopefully finding somewhere to sleep every night, sub of the day, Lynx showers, shirtless 14 year olds with bleeding knuckles and “mum” tattooed on their chest, the world cup. Germany are in it to win it now I reckon. These last two weeks of summer have been epic. Here are a few from the skatepark:

This is Louie & Mike who I haven’t seen properly in about 2 odd years, maybe even longer. You may remember Louie ending my Summer 2006 edit! Spent the whole week drinking, eating and sleeping (not in that way) with them pretty much, as well as Tom Kiblawi who I hadn’t seen for a good 2 years either, who also features in a few of the older edits. Cheers for your hospitality boys!

Smither is still a douche bag, but now he can 360 flip.

“Laura, you’re in the pit of men, where we get sweaty, eat meat and watch football for the next two months” – My housemate Alex after Laura complaining about goal celebrations ruining her seating on the sofa, which also reminds me of him shouting “This isn’t a place for girls!” after Sami gets an elbow to the face during Danny Byrd at Summer Ball.

Loved today, love the world cup atmosphere, love ridiculous drink offers that equate to 40p a can, love straw hats, sunglasses and the sunroof open, love pre festival hype, love life don’t care. Can’t wait to be in the pub tomorrow evening.
