Christmas is creeping up fast and it’s time to do some shameless promoting! Skate has pretty much owned it since it came out but Tony Hawk’s back to give it a run for it’s money. Releasing on December the 4th, the new game Tony Hawk: Ride “comes with an exclusive wireless skateboard deck, kitted out with a whole load of motion sensors that help bring the experience of skateboarding to life.”
“No complex buttons to press or fiddly analogue sticks to flick – just step on and ride. By tilting, spinning and lifting the board, you can push, turn, ollie, flip, grind and grab right from the comfort of your own home.”
With things like this it’s all too easy to get it wrong, but I can imagine that with the current competition and Tony Hawk’s previous experience with making games, this could be a lot of fun. You can become a fan on Facebook, and pre-order it from Game on Xbox, PS3 and Wii before it’s release on December the 4th.
