There has been no electricity in my house since yesterday morning, there’s no hot water and therefore its colder inside than out. I’m currently at my nan’s house who coincidentally isn’t living in the stone age, where I can have a bed where the sheets aren’t frozen together and tea out of a proper kettle. Apart from this side effect, yesterday was lovely. Beers & banter in the snow, tea and cake by the fire, a good few hours and plenty of salt & lemon at the pub where the was actual electricity, followed by baileys hot chocolate and a bottle of champagne at a silly time at a mate’s house.
